Day one

Arrive in Da Nang, on to Hoi An

Met at the airport and driven to the old town. The rest of the day is free.

Day two

Hoi An and Tra Que

The ancient town on foot in the morning — merchant houses, lantern-lit lanes — then out to Tra Que herb village for the gardening, the tam huu rolls and a herbal footbath.

Over the pass to Hue

North along the coast and over the Hai Van, the Cham Museum in Da Nang, and the Minh Mang mausoleum on arrival in Hue.

Imperial Hue

A cyclo to the Citadel by way of the Nine Holy Cannons in the morning; Tu Duc's tomb among the pines and Thien Mu Pagoda in the afternoon.
