Before you fly
Vietnam visa and arrival services
Nextour began as a visa agency and never stopped being one. We file e-visas, obtain approval letters, and meet you at the aircraft door.
Pick your visa and processing time, see the exact price, upload your passport and photo — we take it from there.

First, check whether you need one at all
A growing number of nationalities enter Vietnam with no visa — the exemption list has been widened several times since 2025, and it now covers most of Western Europe and all of ASEAN, for anything from 14 to 90 days. If you are flying straight to Phu Quoc and staying on the island, there is a separate exemption again.
Send us your passport and your dates and we will tell you plainly whether you can skip the paperwork. We would rather do that than sell you something you do not need.
Ask us about your passport| What it is | Who it suits | Turnaround |
|---|---|---|
| Vietnam e-visa | Almost everyone. Any nationality, up to 90 days. | 3–5 days |
| Visa on arrival | Air arrivals; longer stays; when an e-visa has failed. | 2–3 days |
| Fast track | Anyone landing at a busy hour, with or without a visa. | On the day |
| Arrival services | Transfer, eSIM, lounge — the first two hours. | On the day |
The government e-visa fee is $25 for single entry and $50 for multiple entry. It is paid to the Vietnam Immigration Department, not to us, and is not refunded if an application is refused.

Questions people actually ask
Before you apply
Do I need a visa at all?
Possibly not. Citizens of a number of countries — including the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Poland, Czechia and most of ASEAN — enter Vietnam without a visa for a set number of days, and the list has been widened several times since 2025. Tell us your passport and how long you are staying and we will tell you honestly if you can skip the whole thing. If you are flying straight to Phu Quoc and staying on the island, you may not need one either.
How long does an e-visa take?
Our standard service is three to five working days. Urgent is one working day and same-day service is four to eight working hours, subject to the Immigration Department's own hours. Weekends and Vietnamese public holidays do not count as working days.
What makes an e-visa get rejected?
Almost always the photo or the passport scan. The photo must be a plain, forward-facing portrait with no glasses and no hat, on a white background, and the passport page must be flat, in focus, and complete to the edges. Name spellings that differ from the passport by even one character are the other common cause. We check all of this before anything is submitted.
Can I enter by land with an e-visa?
Yes. The e-visa is accepted at Vietnam's international airports and at a long list of land and sea crossings, including the main gates with Cambodia, Laos and China. You do have to nominate your entry point on the application, so tell us if you are arriving overland.
What if my plans change after the visa is issued?
An e-visa cannot be edited once issued — the entry date, entry point and passport number are fixed. If your dates move outside the validity window you need a new application. This is why we ask you to be reasonably certain of your arrival date before we file.
Is fast track worth it?
At Noi Bai in the morning and Tan Son Nhat in the evening, yes. Those are the peaks when several wide-bodies land together and the immigration hall backs up. On a quiet midday arrival you will not save much, and we will tell you so rather than sell it to you.
One message is enough
Send us the passport page and your arrival date
We will come back with what you need, what it costs, and how long it takes — and tell you if the answer is nothing at all.
