Da Lat, the City of Flowers
Fifteen hundred metres up on the Lam Vien plateau, Da Lat is where the French went to escape the heat and where Vietnamese couples still go to be cold. Pine forest, a lake, greenhouses full of flowers, and architecture that belongs somewhere else entirely.

Day one
Overnight coach, then Da Lat
A late departure from Saigon and a night on the coach. Breakfast on arrival, then Happy Hill Coffee, lunch, Truc Lam monastery and the Crazy House. The evening is free for the night market.

Domaine de Marie, strawberries, Puppy Farm
The old French church and the sisters' handmade goods, a strawberry garden, and a local specialities shop. In the afternoon, Puppy Farm and its hydrangea, lavender and cactus gardens.

Lam Vien square, then Saigon
The sunflower sculpture and the artichoke dome on the square, then the hilltop temple at Dai Ninh above the Da Nhim river, and a stop at Bao Loc on the way back.

Scheduled group departure from central Saigon; the exact pick-up point is confirmed when you book. A 50% deposit holds the seat, with the balance due seven days before departure. Insurance does not cover travellers over 75, and for safety we cannot accept guests aged 80 or over.
